God, I hate fan lists
They're just so stupid and pointless, why the heck do people have them?
It's like, do I need to know how many people are "fans" of my graphic novel? If they are, can they instead write out a message saying if they like it, critique this, and support me instead of writing "fan me"?? I don't want to update my comic and see "fan me" instead of "this is -opinion-"
And then the people who just start a comic and have like, the cover and put up an empty fan list and expect people to volunteer. It's like they have an ego and have to post a list of people who love them oh so much.
And I hate it when people will have JUST a cover and people will say fan me. Because it's like, YOU DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT IT'S ABOUT, HOW ARE YOU MAKING AN ACCURATE JUDGEMENT? Oh right, you're NOT.
I just found a thread with someone saying a vague story idea that pretty much only had the setting and a tiny silver of plot and someone said "well, consider me your first fan"
WHAT??!!
I was also commenting on a starting comic that had a cover and one page, saying how it looked interesting and I liked it and such and kinda talking with the artist, then someone comes in the thread and says "fan me" and after the artist added their username in the fan list, they said, "Yes, first fan!"
Ok, gold star for you.
Is it such an accomplishment? Are you special now, the golden fan, number 1? What is so special about being the first fan? Cause let me say, I could have said "fan me" and become first fan, and would they have done the same? They wouldn't have been first fan, so would it have been so great? It's like grabbing the last of a batch of cookies that are a flavor you don't even like, just so you can have it.
And I never put myself in a fan list, except for once when I adored the comic and the artist was really friendly and deserved it. But really, if I'm actually a "fan" then I will check the comic for updates and stuff, not be put on a list to be forgotten about. I mean, I could say I'm a fan of Purple Thunder: Wildpaw's Story but I'm not on the fan list. Does that make me less of a fan?
Personally, having a few people compliment my comic and be supportive are better than having a thousand people say fan me. Those are the people that actually care.

Sorry It's Taking so Long
I meant to like, get page 3 done Friday but I got distracted because I watched Pirates of the Caribbean yesterday and ended up doing an hour of nothing and them watching a livestream for two hours before I had to go to bed. And then today I got up really really late [around 12:30pm] and watched Phantom of the Opera, then spent like half an hour in my room with a bloody headache trying to do homework before I gave up and now I'm going between working on drawing and tumblr. Plus that and I have another picture I want to try to finish this weekend or soonish
So maybe it'll be done today, probably not because I need to watch last weeks Doctor Wh
Projects
I'm trying to get out of the habit of trying to come up with story ideas and things...
I am at the beginning of two projects, and with school, I don't want to start trying to do a ton of stuff.
So I'm working on the warriors fan comic, and I really wanna actually get somewhere with this one. I have like 9 pages sketched already, and I think I need only one or two more for the prologue. I have some of the actual story planned out too, but not to great detail.
I'm also at some point doing an ask pony blog on tumblr with a friend, though I haven't gotten around to talking with him recently and stuff. I've started character design stuff but do
I haven't been on for months
I honestly haven't been on in a really long time and I'm trying to change that. I'm cleaning up my account and getting rid of old pictures I don't like, a process that takes way too long. I also have to go through all my messages [all 1500 of them]
Expect more pictures soon, I've started working on a fan comic for warriors that hopefully....I'll finish....or get somewhat far in it. My only problem is that it took me two days to do the background on just the first page so I don't know if I'm going to continue doing backgrounds the same way or not at all or just differently... tell me what you think, I suppose.
Ive been gone x.x but not really
I havent been on deviantART in a while and when I am its for a short time. Ive been busy/distracted/and lazy..... sorry
Trying to get though all my messages. Almost 600.... o.o
My schedule is really busy cause of dance and drama club. One mondays or tuesdays sometimes I dont even get home till around 9 or 10. Plus homework, which I end up doing late. Even now I have to go to drama in a few minutes till 4 x.x
Its fun but.... something about it :|
Edit// they changes the time... it doesnt start until another hour...

I agree. On My comic page, I often have people ask to be added to my fan list when I don't even have one, I think they're pointless and it's getting annoying.
